Price: 14 000 AUD $

Offering: Cars for sale, used cars for sale in Australia, Richmond

2002 model. 6 speed SMG. Black leather. If you’re a serious buyer, you’ve already done your research. Legendary car, pulls like a freight train, awesome handling, 8000rpm redline, sounds amazing, etc. Completely stock aside from: - Black corner lights/indicators - 19” gunmetal CSL replicas - Lowered on genuine King Springs - Black vinyl roof wrap I don’t like my time being wasted and I don’t want to waste yours. Come view the car with realistic expectations you won’t be disappointed. It's not a "perfect" car but that said any issues are purely minor, cosmetic and/or affordable fixes/have never bothered me during my ownership of the car. Amazing condition mechanically, where it counts. No strange engine sounds. Ridiculously smooth and confidence inspiring at highway speeds. ALWAYS warmed up before spirited driving and it shows. No SMG issues and has been checked by an enthusiast shop for any telltale subframe cracks/damage: none whatsoever. Regretful sale but we’ve already bought a more practical car not to mention I have a motorbike now (and looking to buy another one). The leather seats and interior are in GREAT condition. Before I came to own it, I inspected several E46 M3s and most showed unacceptable, deal-breaker levels of wear and tear in the leather. I’ve never even once used let alone abused launch control during my ownership (You could probably verify this at BMW if you wanted to). It’d be surprising if it were used by past owners even rarely, if at all, as there’s literally no signs of SMG wear, with the car shifting perfectly and reliably every single time. Based on both experience and research I keep the shift setting on S4, with S1 being the smoothest/slowest and S6 being the fastest/hardest shifts. I don’t use the “auto” mode. Sequential manual is actually the default mode when starting the car. I do my own changes. Castrol Edge 10W60 used: the ONLY other oil aside from Castrol TWS 10W60 recommended for use in the E46 M3. Only ever run on RON 98. Previous owner also a sensible car enthusiast. Logbooks up until their ownership. Test drives upon deposit or proof of funds. I’ll drive first to give you a rundown on and make sure you’re comfortable driving SMG, then you can hop into the drivers seat and have a turn.
