The ultimate surf wagon. Very rare 1952 Chevrolet Tin Woody, not many made and not many survive in the World let alone Australia. Vehicle was imported late 2014 and was repainted in a great metallic green with the wood grain hand done a two coat clear was then applied. The interior had only the front seat so we decided to set up the rear as storage with a timber floor and all the door panels we redone in timber also. All chrome has been redone, window and door handles replaced as new, new windscreen, door locks re installed and work, all electrical redone in 6V original. New floor pans installed and heaps of rust cut out and repaired. New headliner installed and windlace and new carpet installed along with new reproduction steering wheel, wiper motor fully rebuilt and operating perfectly. New Chrome moony wheels and whitewall tyres are also new. The motor is original 216 straight six with a 3 on the tree. Runs and drives well. I have heaps of spare parts including, new differential, powerglide auto transmission and full set of front suspension, which is not yet fitted. The car is not perfect, but is the coolest looking wagon you will ever see.
